Getting my hands dirty for the last couple of days on the IpCop firewall. This cool little linux distro is very simple to handle, yet very effective.
The first time I logged into an existing host, I was a little clueless in the beginning. Especially the network setup parameters are not same as generic linux distributions. Once I typed “setup”, the whole confusion cleared off. I love the character based screens that are very efficient when accessing the system over ssh connections. Reminds me of my early days of Oracle (3.6 or so) forms. :-).
