Spent Saturday night watching Maa TV‘s Telugu movie awards. The best part is facilitating director K. Viswanath with life-time achievement award. Imagine 4 small girls (finalists in Maa’s singing competitions) each singing a couple of song snippets from Viswanath’s movies. A feast for your ears! And nostalgic too. Then the great director is invited on to the stage and given the award. Simple, yet great way to pay respect to what he has done to the Telugu movies. Well done Maa TV!
