First skype contact added

Looks surprising, but my first ever Skype contact is added today. For ages, I was using Sun’s internal IRC clients and other voice based collaboration tools. (For my Sun buddies: #solaris and #security rock, so do #lsarc and #fun!) For personal messaging, I was using gaim/pidgin. Being a power user of OpenSolaris as my desktop, never got to install skype for a regular use. Hope Skype is supported on OpenSolaris soon.
So I dusted off my multi-year old skype account and installed a skype client on a Linux virtual desktop running on my OpenSolaris box. I am yet to get the audio part working, but this is a good start.
