Haleem Time!

One great thing about Hyderabad is Haleem during the month of Ramzan. During this month, muslims observe fasting during day time and end it with Iftaar during night. One of the key food items for breaking the fast is Haleem, made with meat that is cooked for about 12 hours. Meat, spices and wheat flour are cooked to make a porridge. This dish is very tasty and also very rich in nutrition.

During this month, you can find any street of Hyderabad with one or more restaurents serving this food. This dish is so tasty and tempting that yesterday, after dinner, I got a serving packed for my train journey. This dish is not that commonly seen in other cities though. I am curious to know if there are any places in Central Bangalore that serve this food.
