Yesterday I went to Gnanashram for their third anniversary celebrations. It was a very nice evening, listening to the experiences of the senior citizens and their caretakers. Looks like this body is making a good progress in its social service activities. They said they are going to extend the facilities for 150 more senior citizens, from the current strength of about 55. Hope they could mobilize the necessary funding for those activities.
During their facilitations ceremony, they facilitated Dr. A. Rajagopala Raju, well known cardiologist from the city’s CARE hospitals. CARE hospital is providing the necessary medical services to the patrons of the aashram free of cost, just charging for the consumables.
