This week, there is a loss of two good people I personally know.
- G. Ramalingaraju: A very respected figure in Kompally and Bhimavaram areas. He passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday am due to severe heart attack. For past few years he is residing in Bhimavaram and holding honorary positions in local Kshatriya association. He is serving those positions with lot of zeal and dedication. A person who mingles with people of all ages. He is is approached by many of us for advises on a wide range of issues. His passion for well being of everyone in the family is exemplary. He is a father figure for the entire family. His absence is going to leave a huge gap in family relations.
- D. V. Narasaraju: With 40+ years of Telugu movie industry presence, he is treated as a father of satire and wit in telugu movies. Popular for story writing and script writing, he is behind many of the telugu industry gems like Gundamma Katha, Yamagola, Ramudu-Bhimudu and so on. A man who could wrote stories and dialogues that survived multiple generations of Telugu movie goers, lot of his works are re-made into other Indian languages. He is maternal uncle of my father-in-law, and I had some memorable occassions of meeting with him in the last 15 years. He passed away on Monday after a few days of hospitalization.
