NetEnrich Independence Day Bash

We at NetEnrich India celebrated Independence Day bash on Friday, the 14th. We planned the day as a traditional/ethnic wear day. The participation is really good. We did a nice “NetEnrich Family” photo session towards the end of the day. The pictures in this album cover people who can join the session. (Note that we run 24x7x365 desks for mission critical devices and applications, so people come to work in different shifts. Some people had to stay back in office to man the desks. Also there are a few people who couldn’t attend the session due to urgent meetings.)

WorkID2009Bash

Narayan’s presence increased the upbeat mood of the people. It is a nice festive atmosphere at work today.

BTW, there is an award for best traditionally dressed  male and I bagged it. Rupa won the female category. Thank you team, for nominating me.Thanks for all your participation.

Srimanth’s Wedding

Just now back from Srimanth’s wedding. We stayed there at the wedding for a little more than an hour, but spent about 2.5 hours driving either way to the wedding. Typical clogged roads on a weekday evenings.

The wedding is at a very nice function hall. The venue is spacious, so is the dining hall. More than a dozen of our coworkers attended the wedding. It is a very well organized one.

ISO 27001 certified

We are formally a ISO 27001 certified company now. For the last few weeks, we have been formalizing the security best practices we adopted all the while. We also went through several internal audits and stipulated formal audits. The process is complete late last week. The certification audit report came up very well and reflects the good things we practice.

Emergency Preparedness Drill

We did an emergency preparedness drill at work today. We have a nice group of volunteers for our ERT (Emergency Response Team.) The drill is well planned and well executed. It also exposed a few infrastructure limitations/malfunctions, which can be fixed with in the next few hours. Overall, the event went smoother than expected. Thank you Facilities and ERT!

Trip to US

I am on a business trip to US. Right now I am in Los Angeles area with Ravi and Sunitha for the weekend. Spurthi and Surya traveled along with me and are going to stay with Ravi/Sunitha for the next seven weeks.

I am heading to Bay Area on Monday. Will be there for at least a couple of months.
