With the state of Karnataka heading for a Bandh (strike) today, I am getting WFH (Work From Home) mails from most of my team mates. They account for 40% of my mail traffic this morning. I am currently located in Hyderabad, WFH anyway for the entire week.
It is good to see that many of my team members have WFH infrastructure (like home systems that can do VPN, mails on an edge server, etc.) setup, so that they can work from home when required. In India, not many companies allow their employees to work from home. However, Sun, being in the forefront of open work culture, has solutions for days like these. Like call forwarding, mails on edge servers etc.
