Anything Apple does leads to news. The new 3G Shuffle attracted lot of press over the weekend, mostly due to this magic chip number “8a83e3”. People thought it is DRM, but it is more likely a volume control tool. DRM or no-DRM, the size of the new shuffle looks interesting. Not having compatibility with 3rd party headphones seems to be a big negative.
